VOCAL CONCERT -Grades 4-8
Dear Parents and Students of 4-8th Grade Vocal Music,
This is the week! This Thursday December 12th is our vocal music winter concert! Yay!
Below is a reminder of the information that you need to know. Middle School students have a required dress rehearsal tomorrow after school in the MPR (see below schedule).
CONCESSIONS HELP: Thank you to the parents who were able to sign up to help with our concessions. J We will have popcorn, baked goods and bottled water available at the concert!
SCHEDULE:
DRESS REHEARSAL: For 6th-8th graders only! Wednesday Dec. 11, 1:45-3:15 pm in the MPR
PERFORMANCE: Thursday December 12, 2019 at Plaza Vista School, MPR
TIMES: 4th-5th grade concert 6:00 pm (student performers arrive at 5:45 pm)
6-8th grade concert 7:00 pm (student performers arrive at 6:45 pm)
- GRADE ATTIRE: Wear something dressy (as if you are going to a nice event or party). For bottoms: nice pants or skirt (or a dress). For tops: nice blouse or button shirt. NO sweats, shorts, clothing with writing/pictures or blue jeans are allowed. Length of skirts or dresses must be to the knee cap or longer. If a skirt or dress is shorter than the knee cap, wear solid stockings or leggings underneath. Shoes must have a back to them so they are secure to the foot.
6-8th GRADE ATTIRE: Same as 4th-5th grade above except we have a color scheme - Wear one or more of these colors: black, white, gray, blue and/or silver.
PV Advanced Choir Attire: Same as the other middle school students except they can wear an accent of red such as a Santa hat or a red scarf, etc.
NOTE: This concert is a required part of music class and counts towards each student’s music grade.
