Plaza Vista, along with many other IUSD schools, is pleased to announce a new partnership with the NFL Fuel Up to Play 60 program. Fuel Up to Play 60 is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program launched by National Dairy Council and NFL, in collaboration with the USDA, to help encourage today's youth to lead healthier lives.
The Los Angeles Chargers have provided Plaza Vista with a great NFL Flag-In School Kit to be used with all 3rd-8th graders. This kit includes:
- 10 footballs
- 50 FLAG belts
- 3 kicking tees
- An NFL FLAG poster
- Participation certificates
- The FLAG football curriculum
The FUTP 60 NFL FLAG-In-Schools Kit is designed to integrate easily into any P.E. program, or outside of P.E. as well.
